A Brace of Blue Pheasants  

This painting celebrates the iridescent colours of these beautiful birds.  Pheasants have such glorious colours in their shimmering plumage and are a wonderful sight in the countryside.  I found the branches with similar hues whilst walking in the field and these prompted the painting. 

The painting is framed in a complimentary soft grey with a natural wood grain effect. The background is a pale grey/blue.
