This painting captures two Weimaraners in exuberant play.  I love the metallic sheen on the coats of this iconic and striking breed of gundog.  I have owned two Weimaraners over the years and have a soft spot for this full-on, joyful and demanding dog. 

This painting is complemented by a deep wooden frame in a muted grey brown wash.

The picture has a protective varnish.
