Wistful Hare.  One of my favourite subjects to paint is a hare.  This hare has the description of wistful as he has paused and is looking back at something that is not quite in our eyeline. His thoughtful gaze invites the viewer to a quiet moment of contemplation.  
This picture has an off white background.

This painting is complemented by a cream paint effect frame with antique gold highlights.  

The painting is protected by a satin sheen  UV varnish.
